37,5 cl bottle @ hotel room, Las Vegas as ”Hanssens Lambic Experimental Raspberry"
Ugly, hazy appearance with no head, orange-reddish colour and some mosquito egg -looking bubbles in the glass. Aroma is tart and sour with lots of earthy notes, some raspberries and apples. Flavour is really sour and tart with some raspberries and lactic acid. Hardcore stuff and definitely much better than I expected when looking at the score average.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle last yr, pours a pinkinsh light ruby color with cloudy body. No lacing or head at all. Aromas of wild yeast, sour funky lactic notes of peach, raspberry, woods, and tons of oaky vinous notes. Taste was puckering, mouth watering raspberry peach fruit flavors with oak tannins, barn. Finishes smooth and warming. I loved the change from initial mouthfeel taste to the finish/aftertaste.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from downtown Binny’s in Chicago. Last night in the WA and wanted to celebrate a little. A light pop from the cork but pours absolutely still; a reddish-gold color. Mouthwatering sour aroma that has a hint of the raspberries in the finish. Big acidic sourness in the flavor that really never backs off. This stuff is powerful. Nice but maybe a little too much for me.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
0.375 L corked and wired bottle, bought at Hanssens Artisanaal in may 2011. Pours a clear orange-shaded red body. Instantly dying big-bubbled blond head. Intense raspberry aroma. Lovely fresh raspberries, raspberry bon-bon and rasbberry jam. A vinous touch to it, and a faint whiff of wood and almonds. Taste is palate-splintering acidic. Superdry with clean and genuine raspberry flavor. Barrel notes and hint of acetic acids. Almost flat, light to medium full. Raspberry acidity linger in a everlasting finish. Wow!
