A slightly opaque orange amber body that lacked any kind of head and carbonation was minimal. Aroma hand a nice sweet note from raspberries upon opening. However the more tart notes of the lambic came through. Nice wild yeast presence. Flavor was mostly tart, some nice raspberry notes rounded out the flavor. Finish was fruity and carbonation was almost no-existent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from bottle at Pizzeria Paradiso, Dupont Circle. Pours a rich reddish gold with just a rim of head around the glass, no lacing. Aroma - wheat, lactic tartness very present, raspberry like fruit that’s been picked, but then left in the bowl (not sweet but obviously fruit). Taste - no hiding the lactic tart in this, raspberry, touch of funk, and long lasting, delicious tartness with that underlying funk that I just love. Soft on the palate, no carbonation to speak of, but that’s not a bad thing in my opinion. Delicious!

Bottle opened without much pop and poured an orange golden color with just a few white bubbles and a fairly still look. Aroma has tart raspberry, acidity, oak, and some seedy jam. Mouth feel is light and unfortunately it is almost completely flat. Flavor waters the mouth good, medium range acidity, tart raspberry, and oak. It is a bit sharp overall.

Pitiful pop from the cork means low carb ahead. Pours flat, zero head/lace.

Easy to smell the astringency. Super sour, zero depth, generic fruit sourness flavor. Solid, but lacks depth.

Bottle from Sam’s Quik Stop on 04/15/2011. Hazy reddish amber body with a very thin white head. Big funky aroma with some raspberry. Dry tart, funky raspberry flavor with some light apple. Light body with moderately high carbonation.

Bottle (375 ml). Thanks to Randall for this one! Straw/golden with no head and no lacing. Aroma is dominated by raspberries (jam) along some sweetness notes, leafy presence and acetic notes. Taste is also mostly of raspberries (jam) with leafy notes, acetic presence and wooden notes. Light to medium body. Low carbonation. Raspberries takes to much place in the one and mostly hide the lambic characteristics. Too acetic and lack of carbonation doesn’t help drinkability

bottle shared by tom10101, thanks bro. pours slightly hazy golden-orange without a head. raspberry jam, sweetish ones, other fruits - peaches, but also flowers, some chalk, and some components that may be associated with sulfur, light woodsy notes - hint of vanilla. light to medium acidity - tad too much acetic. low carbonation, light body - oily, very dry and tart fruity-grassy-herbal finish.

Pours a clear orange with no head so of course no lacing. Aroma is actually not too bad with some raspberries soaking in acid and some light sulfur notes in the finish. Taste is bad in my opinion, pure acetic acid. Maybe some really light fruity flavors but I must be trying too hard. Body was medium, texture really oily. Of course this is a lambic and not a gueuze, but the lack of carbonation hinders drinkability. Over the top acetic, I wouldn’t drink again even if my life depended on it.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy bright orange amber with just a few bubbles of head. Aroma brings out lots of raspberries, light acidity and low funk. Flavour is very bizarre, with lots of puckeringly sour raspberries, high acidity, and moderate vinegar. Extremely acidic and quite sour, way too much so to be very drinkable. Quite ascorbic and acidic - not to my taste.

Thanks Cahizzle. Nose is big barbyardy and raspberry . Flavor has a huge tart raspberry character, lactic acid, very tart and delicious. Very good lambic.
