No head, just some bubbles. Aroma is slightly fruity sour-ish, sorrel, sweet strawberries, oak, thinner, grass, lemon, hay. Taste is slightly mild acidic sour, sorrel, raw rhubarb, sweet strawberries, grass, oak, citrus peel. Medium bitterness, nice dry acidic mouthfeel. Nice one.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very hazy orange pour, with no head, the beer is flat. There is a faint strawberry aroma, its subtle, but i can pick it out. The horse blanket, is upfront, and the sourness and tartness is way over the top. This rivals. Some staight up gueuzes ive had. The sourness is incredible, i love it. The fruits are lost past the aroma which is a shame.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Funky earthy aromas, feet, hangover pee, pink Pez. Clear peach-orange, no head. Dry, tart, acidic, some sour unripened strawberry/blueberry flavors in the aftertaste. Light-medium bodied, sharp, lingering tartness.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Smells funky and fruity, a little like vinegar. Not much carbonation at all. The first sip is intensively sour, but the strawberry flavor is faint, it tastes more like artificial strawberry flavoring than the actual fruit. It is super delicious and refreshing on its own way.

Bottle, De Vidts. 37,5cl. Pours golden to orange. No head, no carbonation. Quite clear / shiny. Backyard funk nose, some berries & fruit in the nose but not the synthetic strawberry aroma we are used to. Taste is more wood, quite tart, mellow sour. Not too acetic. Good stuff.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAR 20, 2014 Bottle: Thanks, Kevin! Vibrant orange body, yielding no head or carbonation at all... Oily looking, almost like a still mead. Aroma is lovely with notes of strawberry, sweet & almost candy-like. Hints of barnyard hay & lightly sweaty funk back up the strawberry fruits. Wow - the first sip is unexpectedly sour. Incredibly sour, puckering... Aroma smelled more sweet, but the taste is all sour. Loses complexity... Less strawberry & funk, more of a lactic, lemon flesh & sweettart sourness that rips through everything. Very timid strawberry & musty funk in the finish, but the acidic notes tower over everything. Moderate vinegar throughout. Flat, oily mouth feel, really wish this was carbonated better (or at all). I love the ripping sourness of the beer, just wish it maintained more of the complexity of the strawberries & funk on the palate. Appearance/body hurts the score, this would be better with proper carbonation.

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2014 Smells like funky strawberry juice. Taste is very close to the smell. Puckeringly sour. Very funky taste and all around beer. Zero carbonation unfortunately. Overall really funky beer with a big sour.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a golden honey with no head, similar to a mead / cyser in appearance. Moldy strawberries on the nose, perhaps some ammonia and bitter fruit pits as well? Tart, musky, vinous, woody, lactic. A summertime golden shower precluding a kinky, psychedelic trip with Mother Nature. Not for the faint or prude of heart.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Hazy, light copper, no head and no bead or lacing. Very dull, aged, bacterial nose. Stale urine almost. Just the slightest hint of fruit if you imagine it.
Very dry and sour with no bitterness. Searing acidity but reasonably clean. finishes just a bit soapy. Amazing acid. Good length.
Hard to call it a fruit beer but it is like drinking old world white wine.
Rustic. Quenching. It does build on you.
