This unique, refreshing beer appetizer is the result of amalgamating fresh strawberries with lambic during summer.

Gold, no head; light body, light carbonation, watery. Aroma: rotting strawberry, other mixed berries, old and stinky, little bit of manure/farm, strawberry shortcake, tartness. Flavor is very tart, berry fruit, strawberry is a bit less apparent here. Despite being jarring, the sourness becomes palatable after a few sips and is rather clean tasting. Ends in a brief and restrained burst of bitterness to finish the taste. Interesting lambic. Aroma is very complex, if a bit off-putting. Flavor is more clean. Strawberry is not overwhelming, but definitely present.

@ The Ginger Man à Manhattan. Une bouteille. Liquide jaunâtre. Ce lambic à la fraise et très acide. C’est aussi marquant en bouche qu’au nez. Les fraises sont discrètes mais détectables. Une finale sèche sur l’acidité et les petites fraises macérées.

Pale orange pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is light berries and funk. Pretty hard tart start and then the berry esters on the flavor. Medium bodied and a bit watery. A really nice beer with just right fruit and tart for me

Aroma of tart fruit, barnyard funk, sweet strawberry, vinegar, oak. Flavour is quite sour with a nice dry finish. Enjoyed this one very much.

Hazy orange coloured beer with a very feint pink tinge and almost nonexisting white head. A sour lambic aroma combined with the sweetness of real strawberrys. In the flavour the sour lambric perfectly precedes the soft sweet strawberry taste and an intensifing bitterness before you enjoy a long and dry sour aftertaste. (Corked bottle 37,5cl)

Bottle with caged cork 37.5cl. Cloudy orange amber color, no head just some bubbles, no lacing; strong fruity aroma, barnyard, manure, strawberry, oak; medium sour taste, fruity strawberrie notes, no sweetness, bit woody; medium body, sticky texture, carbobation flat; finish fresh sour, woody, fruity, at the end even some light sweet notes. Very complex and special.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy yellow amberish orange with no head. Sour aroma, barnyard, horse blanket, wood and strawberries. Taste is sour, fruity, strawberries with barnyard, woody, lambic. Oily texture, bit of spiciness in the sour aftertaste. Very nice.

Bottle shared at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a white cream head. Sweaty, with lots of dank berries, watery strawberries, acetic burn. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Burning acetic finish with further berry tang. Not bad.
