Bottle (dmg notes). Slightly hazy orange/red and a small head. Aroma is heavily dosed with strawberries and sweetness. Flavour of strawberries with an acidic aftertaste. (Beeranarchist rating: 7-4-5-3-?)

Small coarse white head quickly disappears. Hazy deep yellow body. Strong waxy earthy strawberry aroma with barnyard and peaches notes. Dry-sweet deep subterranean earthy waxy taste with strawberry and barnyard notes. Fullish body. Sharp mouthfeel. Dryish and faintly acidic waxy earthy lemony aftertaste with indescribable strawberry linoleum notes. Wow! An amazing beer. So incredibly different, and highly drinkable for a lambic. (0.375 bottle, bought at the brewery.)

Bottle 37,5cl a cloudy golden orange beer with no head. Nose is gueuse like and fruity on strawberries and apricot. Aroma is very sour, mushroom like, wet wood, less fruit aroma, bit disappointed, just vinegar.

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2011 Bottle. 12.7 oz. Split with Seany for his 22nd Birthday. Pours an opaque, reflective orange with a small white head that recedes to leaves some suds around the rim. Aroma of Sharpie marker, barnyard funk, savory cheese and some lovely hints of berries; strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Very tart, musty palate with an intensely biscuity, crusty, strawberry jam-on-toast flavor. Amazinlgly arid, yet mouth-wateringly cutting palate. I expected a huge strawberry flavor, but this was very much a geueze with strawberry hints imbued. Decent fruit lambic.

Bottle, courtesy GT2. Pour is a fizzy yellow/gold with a small head. Aroma is rich citrus, strawberries, oak, lactic. Flavor is very clean, lots of fresh fruit: strawberries, lemon, pineapple, lots of funk. Palate is very soft, clean, tart with almost no acidity. Good stuff.

375mL c&c. The pour is a hazy, glowing sunset orange to gold with really no head formation. Looks like unblended but with a little ring of bubbles. Still, a beautiful pour. Nose is quite outstanding: huge amounts of cotton candy, fresh and sour pineapple, mango, some big time impending acidity and mild acetobacter. Rich, sugary strawberry dessert peeks in and out of the nose. Mild plasticy phenols and burnt plastic refuse to disperse and is the only qualm I have with an otherwise insanely awesome nose. Taste is much softer than I expected. Still, some huge spicy acetic character in the back end but no lacerative quality. Palate is very impressive: light, citric, lemon section heavy with mangos and very intense Greek yogurt sticking around in the throat. Very fresh, refreshing, very tart and tropical fruity sour. Lots of bright citrus and tropical melons in profile. Really good stuff.

Pours a cloudy murky orange color with barely a bubble from a very vigorous pour. The nose is very pleasant with lots of strawberries, a lactic sourness, a touch of oak, and a hint of barnyard. Taste is quite tart with lemons and some vinegar. The strawberry comes in to only partially sweeten the sour. Earthy funky musty come through before once again turning tart and lingering on the palette long after every sip. Almost non-existent carbonation, medium body, with a tart mouth puckering feel. I would have loved some carbonation in this bad boy! As is its decent but probably something I wouldn’t purchase again.
