Bottle from 2000... Pours a super ugly puke pink, with only the faintest small off white head... Faint tart strawberries with some nice musky, surprisingly good... Wow, this is really good, super tart, instant puckerer, candy strawberry notes, cotton candy... Very tart, a bit of strawberries, well worth having

2001 Vintage bottle@Kulminator: sampled, hazy orange colour, reminds me of peach juice/nectarine, smells surprisingly sweet with some jam & fruits (mainly strawberry), taste is very tart-like with strawberries (different in taste from both wild and regular strawberries, more like a mix of both), mint tea, definitely a lambic but not really sour or anything, some farm flavours, distant squeezed lemon juice, aging is amazing, very good

I’ve tasted this beer during the "Toer de Geuze 2011" at the brewery.
Wow, that’s probebly the best appetizer I’ve ever tasted.
Despite that’s a strawberry beer, the colour is like a lambic, slighly darker. But the aroma of the strawberries are in your nose when you’re pouring it out. And the smell is about "real" strawberries. The taste is like a real lambic and the aftertast, the full aroma of the strawberries are there again. when finished the bottle, I got the taste that I’ve eaten a bowl of fresh strawberries.
I’m a lamic lover and a strawberry lover, gosh, lovly combination. Fanastic beer as an apero or hot summer night,

Tasted on 5/10/11 from a 375mL corked and caged bottle purchased at West Lakeview Liquors. Pours murky orange with some light bubbling, but no head. The nose is signature Hanssens burnt rubber and barnyard citrus sour lambic along with a very pleasant, lightly sweet, natural raspberry aroma. The flavor is abrasive and sour up front with tons of citrus, barnyard, burnt rubber, vanilla oak, and very nice, natural strawberry. The body is light but oily with almost no carbonation and a long citrus, vanilla, burnt rubber, and strawberry finish.

Hazy straw color, no head. Funky barnyard aroma. Wonderful lacto sour flavor. I can’t detect any strawberry at all. This beer makes my mouth water. One of my favorite lambics.

Nice dark straw color. No head, as expected. No lacing. Bunch of tiny bubble rising up throughout the entire drink. Smells of musty cork. Nutty and sour. A slight strawberry taste. It is not overpowering, but you can tell that it is there. Very nice subtle strawberry that I really am enjoying. Nice crisp tartness. Very good strawberry beer. And an even better strawberry lambic. Need to cellar a bunch of these.
