UPDATED: FEB 23, 2015 Bottle: Thanks, Kevin! Vibrant orange body, yielding no head or carbonation at all... Oily looking, almost like a still mead. Aroma is lovely with notes of strawberry, sweet & almost candy-like. Hints of barnyard hay & lightly sweaty funk back up the strawberry fruits. Wow - the first sip is unexpectedly sour. Incredibly sour, puckering... Aroma smelled more sweet, but the taste is all sour. Loses complexity... Less strawberry & funk, more of a lactic, lemon flesh & sweettart sourness that rips through everything. Very timid strawberry & musty funk in the finish, but the acidic notes tower over everything. Moderate vinegar throughout. Flat, oily mouth feel, really wish this was carbonated better (or at all). I love the ripping sourness of the beer, just wish it maintained more of the complexity of the strawberries & funk on the palate. Appearance/body hurts the score, this would be better with proper carbonation.

Bottle at ’t Brugs Beertje, Brugges. Hazy orange color, no head. Aroma of barnyard, leather, funky, vinegar. Taste is strong sour, almost troath burning, very vinegar flavor with hint of wild strawberry. Aftertaste is sour, tart, lemon flavor. Light body and soft carbonation. Pretty radical but worth trying.

Flaska örebro ölcafe. Äppeljuicefärgad med typ inget skum. Syrlig doft med nypon, jordgubb och jäst. Mycket syrlig doft av äpplekart, smultron, trä och jäst. Drar fint i kinden

375 ml bottle from Tanakaya. Poured into a snifter. Pours a golden orange that is clear with no head at all and zero carbonation. Nose has lots of lacto and some brett along with strong wild strawberry smell with some grass and oak along with a touch of vanilla. This is aggressively tart and acidic with the lacto really standing out in the taste. The finish is bone dry with young unripe strawberries all over the finish. I like lambics and this is fairly intense but good.

Bottle. Amber, on head. Aroma of caramel, sour Apple. Sour taste, salty apple taste. No carbonation. Organic feel, but plastic finnish taste.

Shared bottle at home. Orange/light pink without head. Breakfast drinks with cereal and strawberry, yoghurt, strawberry jelly, young cheese, hay, lots of flowers, slight woody and metallic finish. Medium sour with light bitter finish. Medium bodied with barely any carbonation. Very lactic beer, bit weird but not bad at all.

Pours a vibrant pale orange-amber with slight chill hazing and almost zero carbonation and head. The nose reveals a healthy dose of brett and funky barnyard scents, some sour sweets and fruitiness. There are obvious fruity/berry notes but I'm not sure I'd be able to identify it as strawberries if tasted blind. The palate is almost reminiscent of a Berliner Weisse with some saltiness. The acidity is there but not over the top. Strawberry ice cream and some toasted bread notes kick in mid palate and it ends on an almost chemical note. Very interesting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
