Aroma of strawberries, a bit synthetic. Semi-clear golden appearance, not much foam. Taste of strawberries - compared with other sour beers the sourness is high and great, but the taste of strawberries is odd and ubalanced. A flat beer, though a high body.

Fast klare goldene Farbe, wenig weißer Schaum. Geruch nach frischen Erdbeeren, dezent fruchtig, mehr säuerlich. Geschmack sehr sauer, frische Erdbeeren, trocken, leicht kratzig.

Bottle. Aroma of tart fruit. Body is cloudy orange with zero head. Flavor is berry, tart, acidic and sour. There is an unbalanced texture that makes this a little harsh at times.

12.7 ounce caged and corked bottle, bottled in May 2013. Served in a Prairie lambic glass, the beer pours a slightly hazy golden/orange color with a small white head that fizzled away quickly. Pretty much no lacing, either. Aroma is nice and tart, the brew smells like funk, strawberries, vinegar, oak and earthiness. Taste is similar to the aroma, it tastes like funk, sweet and unripe strawberries, vinegar, earthiness, green apples, lemon and cheese. The tartness lingers around for a while in the finish. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s smooth and easy to drink. The Hanssens brews I’ve tried in the past have been hit or miss, but I thought this was good and I enjoyed the tartness. I’d like to try this again in the future.

Bottle at Øst, Stavanger. Pours clear reddish amber without any head. Aroma of glue, lemons, horse stable, strawberry. Tastes sour. No CO2 whatsoever. Disappointing.

Bottle. Pours clear reddish orange, with an ever so slight creamy head. Aroma is a rather strange funky sweetness of strawberries, grapes and wine gums, as well as red berries, wine vinegar and wooden brett. Medium body, with almost no carbonation. Flavour is sour with grapes, fruit peel, berries and light wood, as well as some funky brett, vinegar and farmhouse notes.

Sample from bottle, hazy light orange colour pretty flat. Nose of grains, fainted malts, wet oak, red fruits, raspberry aroma, and strawberry. Somehow i always get a arteficial sweet taste when i have strawberry in a sour beer. Just doesn’t work for me

Hazy orange no head. Refreshing lambic aroma with rasberry and strawberry . Acetic taste at the first sip then some odd kind of mixture of soft cheese and red fruit, ribes. No carbonation. Leaves a nice fresh fruty aftertaste.

Bottle enjoyed at home
Orange hazy, no head. Smell of funk, fruity aromas, strawberries, barnyard, quite complex. Light sweet, subtil strawberries blended with lactic acids and lemon; quite balanced, medium sour, some brett and barnyard, totally flat, som cherry stone bitterness in the tail. Quite nice, well integrated strawberries
