This unique, refreshing beer appetizer is the result of amalgamating fresh strawberries with lambic during summer.

Very flat; clear blonde body. Fruity aroma; musty and a little dirty. Very soft and mellow texture. Long and delicate strawberry aftertaste after the initial tang fades. Just a trace of carbonation. Like an unblended fruit lambic.

Bottle to chalice. Removed cork with zero pop. Dark blond with maybe a hint of pink. Aroma of funk and strawberries. Carbonation is barely evident. A little ring and a few bubbles on the inside of the glass. Super tart with a fruity finish.

Bright yellow color, nearly no foam. Smells like used baby-daiper, very unpleasant at first, but if, against better knowledge, you are still willing to take a deep breath, you will find very well hidden flavours of ripe strawberries, beneath a tart, fruity load of brett defined sourness. It is even possible to detect a sweet hint in the overall sourness, resulting from the strawberries. Taste is incredible sour, dries out the tongue immediately, but still leaves some space for a decent strawberry flavour. Begins as sour as it gets, then stawberries come up, adding a lot of fruitiness, which then transforms into a tongue stinging fruity bitterness. It is hard not to cringe at that particular point, still, the beer is unexpected nice, due to its enjoyable, refreshing complexity.. Fantastic, dry tartness paired with sunny, stingy fresh strawberries, leading to a chewy mouthfeel, with an enormous sour aftertaste, which leaves the palate slightly dazed, but very satisfied.

Bottle with cork 0,37ltr: Hazy yellow colored brew with no foamy head at all. Sour taste with an little bit of sweetness due the strawberries. Very refreshing if you like this beer style.

Bottle @ home 20140614. Pours hazy yellow. Completely flat. Aroma of funk, yoghurt, wild strawberries, earthy tones. Taste is not as good as you would think judging from the aroma. Tastes wild strawberries, funk, quite astringent and lots of acetic acid. Not a favorite.

Bottle from 2007 I guess. Pours a golden slightly unclear beer with no head at all. Smells sour, candy. Tastes very sour. Tarted. Green apple. Too sour for me. Dont think I will finish this one. Low carbo, thin body and a sticky texture.

Very nice framboise lambic from this small brewery, complex with true fruitiness, not syrup used, a lot of sourness.
