Green small corked bottle. Brisk lactic tang. Cotton, horse barn, and peach flesh. Icy. Nice vibrant fresh wheat, funk products and acid. Delightful. Hazed gold, with tint of pluot flesh. Graced with a rim of clean white head. Soft, wheat-filled acid dominates the flavor. A bit of green olive juice and tangerine rind dapples the for-palate. Nips of pale fruit grace the the mid-palate. Pears, apricots, and white nectarine. A good symphony of flavors moving between well-integrated acids, light sweetness and brisk alcohol. Fresh and summery. Grain-heads blend with grapes to finish of the body. Crisp and lively. A very nice gueuze. A fitting 1200!

Jul 26, 2008 Bottle. Amber beer with a nice off-white head. Tart, slight lemony, slight acetic aroma. Tart/sour flavor with some earth and light lemony citrus. Some balancing sweetness. Decent acetic notes. Medium body. Lingering acetic sour with wood and earth.

Jul 21, 2008 Poured a soft hazy yellow with a creamy white head. The nose is tart, sour, vinous, muscadine, funky, dry. The flavor is also very tart and sour, yeasty and funky, acidic with a light waxyness. Tart and carbonated mouthfeel.

Jul 16, 2008 Bottle at Spuyten. Hazy light orange with a medium, dissipating off white head. Aroma: funky and sour, with sour apple, citrus, horseblanket, pepper, oak, and cheese. Taste is nice, with alot of sour fruit- apples, citrus, pepper, funky socks, old cheese, damp wood and some vinegar. Very mild sweetness across the palate. This was a nice gueze, enjoyed it.
