4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy golden orange color with an okay head. Nice little bubbles in the glass. Citrus, moldy cheese, and oak in the nose. Citrusy lemon and wood on the tongue. Tart, dry, and crisp. Kind of like a sweet tart aftertaste. The mouthfeel is very close to Champagne. I know what I'm drinking with Christmas breakfast this year. Well done.

38cl. bottle (375ml.) in Ghent, on the barge Kaffee De Planck. Only discovered this brew recently. A smooth lambic blend, for gueuze lovers. Less sour than expected.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle consumed at home since all of my group has rated this. Pours a cloudy orange golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma has nice funky Brett, barnyard character, oak, hay, citrus and some acetic character. The flavor has sour grapefruit and lemon citrus, quite a bit of sourness to this upon the first taste, acidic, dry with mild fruit sweetness. Interesting gueuze that combines nice tart fruit character and classic gueuze sourness.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured into a teku showing a deep caramel honey color with a good carbonation.
Exploding with very strong aromas of brett with strong background aromas of barnyard manure and hay.
The palate is full bodied with very light carbonation. Light to moderate tartness with the same flavors of brett and barnyard manure/hay. The finish shows a very large, sudden, but short burst of fresh apricot fruit. Strange but still fun drink.

Helder geel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is zuur en droog met verrassend sporen van kaas en zuur fruit, tevens iets van rook.
