Commercial Description:
This is the result of blending black cherries lambic of different ages followed by a second fermentation in the bottle. Storage is similar like geuze. All bottles are champagne corked and can be reserved, in normal conditions, for more than thirty years. It is obvious that an amazing taste evolution takes place.

Corked bottle. Musty, dank basement sour cherry malt aroma. Cloudy ruby red color with minimal head. Musty dry, tart sour cherry flavor. Very nice traditional fruit lambic.

Tasted at the Carolina Crew gathering, Greenville - thanks to emacgee for sharing! Extremely rich lambic, with just faint tastes of the kriek in there. It’s well served by the deep dry flavors of black cherries, as something brighter would just spoil the complexities of this lovely dry funk, with its lengthy finish. Delicious.

Cloudy red color with a small pinkish head. Sour funky cherry nose. The taste is very similar with a barnyard funk and over ripe cherries.

7/8 tasting, age unknown. a reddish tea color with no head. WOW, scary aroma: Wet leather, muscadine, must , yeast and sour cherry. Taste: Very dry and tart. Clean finish. Taste is pleasing, quite powerful. SOUR. Yeasty. Did I say SOUR?

Ruby-red with a tightly packed head. Full-feeling body, some from carbonation no doubt. Surprisingly zingy tart-sourness, with elements of catty bile and vinegar. I actually like those things, when done right. Had a quenchy zip to it, too. Sharp and cutting, yet tasty.

Red, dark red with a big egg shell colored head. Highly carbonated. Smell is cherry, fruits, sour, and acidic. Taste is the same as the smell. Thinner and dry in the palate.

From a more recent bottle. Not the same strong vinegar in the flavor. Still strong cherry and a mild sweetness, despite a dry finish. Tingly, acidic and lush cherry. Excellent. ---original rate--- 9 4 7 4 15 = 3.9 Bottle. Deep ruby with a wispy, bubbly head that fades to edge fast. Held up and examined, bubbles trickling from the bottom and sides of the glass, zooming up. The aroma on this is killer. Funk, cheese funk, biting acidity, cherries up and down. The flavor was fantastic too, cherries, sharp and sour, the only problem here was the strong acetic touch which became more pronounced as this warmed. Super dry, puckeringly sour and tart, and tasty.

Clear red coloured beer almost no head and carbonation. Sour fruity (cherry) aroma. Full sour palate. Finish is little sour and dry.
