Commercial Description:
This is the result of blending black cherries lambic of different ages followed by a second fermentation in the bottle. Storage is similar like geuze. All bottles are champagne corked and can be reserved, in normal conditions, for more than thirty years. It is obvious that an amazing taste evolution takes place.

Clear red coloured beer with some very light carbonation and a small white head. Light sour fruity aroma with hints of cherry and pepper. Full, light sour palate. Finish is sour fruity with some cherry notes.

37.5 cL bottle, trade with BelJohansen. Pours hazy to murky pink to red with a lacing off-white head. Dry sulphorish cherry aroma. Solid dry acidic flavour with a lot of citric impressions following. Nice fruity cherry flavour throughout. Goes into a dry, slight wooden and quite citric cherry finish. Nicely thirst quencing.

bottle, no date. pours a clear strawberry amber, with a sizable off-white head that fades almost instantly to nothing. well, it smells like a lambic that was brewed with cherries. acidic lemon, orange, wood, and some barnyard, all against a background of pale malt and cherries. the acidity tickles the inside of one’s nose. i can’t wait. sour cherries dominate the taste, tons of tickling acidity, some grass and earth and wood, and bits of lemon and funk. the cherries definitely come out more in the taste, or maybe it’s just me getting used to the sourness. which brings me to: sour, acidic, and dry finish, with a velvety mouthfeel that seems more full than the body is, if that makes sense. enough carbonation for the style. a pretty average kriek, which means i like it a lot. i almost want to drink it colder, as it’s so hot today. quite tasty, though.

750mL bottle, courtesy of wickedpete. Thanks, Pete! Pours a hazy, ruby color; bright white hed with patchy lacing. Solid tart cherry presence in the aroma; clear bing cherries, citrus, lots of funk and concentrated sourness; funky, clear expression of a kriek. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: intense tart cherries, funk, lively levels of mouthwatering acidity; very flavorful with an intense, sour cherry character; tasty, drinkable stuff, with the slightest touch of sweet red fruit sugars coming through. Lengthy finish: tart bing cherries, red fruits (strawberries, mostly), lingering funk and soft tartness.

750 ml. green bottle. No freshness date seen. Poured out a dark cherry juice color, with no head & no carbonation. Aromas are of serious funk, cherry skins, not much else. Flavors are of rotten garbage, cherry vinegar, stinky feet. Too sour and nasty for my liking, and I like sour beers as a rule. This is some serious, hard core shit here gang.
