Really good integrated fruit and tart lemon/cherry finish. Very nice, if a little (i.e. a lot) tart. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 4, 2006 Reddish pink color with no head. Blast of sour cherry aroma with a little bit of horseblanket funkiness. Tangy cherry flavor is ultra sour with no fake sugary sweetness added. Most of the cherry is in the middle, sandwiched by sourness at the start and finish. Sour taste lingers for a couple minutes after every sip. Delicious. asheft (1383), Marburg, Germany
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 27, 2006 Aroma: Vinegary, horseblankety, cherry-strawberry with malt coming in late along with barely perceptible noble hops. As the beer warms the cherry aroma becomes more prominent. Almost clear, raspberry juice apperance with only a bubbly head that formed from the pour and not from the almost non-existant carbonation. Flavour: like biting into a sour strawberry; vinegary cherry with little sweet tingles that sparkle on the tongue. Very dry and mouth puckeringly sour. This is a bit of a young bottle. Light body and not enough carbonation (barely any, in fact). GarethYoung (1110), Glasgow, Scotland

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | May 21, 2006 Aroma has brett, yeast, and cherry as well as acid. A cloudy pink beer; nearly still. Very sour and acidic but the cherry is part of the sour flavor. Not harsh at all, but much too sour for someone who doesn’t enjoy lambic. hopscotch (5469), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Earthy, fruity aroma with notes of black cherries, lemon, damp wood and leather. The flavor is fairly sour... no sweetness; no bitterness. Fruity and woodsy. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Finishes sour and fruity. Finally dries out. World class! biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA

Very sourly with much acid and cider notes. Only a touch of cherry flavor. Sourly, astringent finish. Acid notes are maybe too extreme.
