| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 11, 2005 Pours cloudy and with a nice golden red color. A thin head stays on top along with a yeast filled aroma. First taste is very sour like a lemon. Taste is sweet and sour with a nice cherry taste that seems to combine with the yeast to get a cherry, peach, lemon combination taste. Sip and enjoy, but avoid if sour is not your thing. scraff (1955), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 16, 2004 Murky ambers and reds, thin disappearing white head. Nose is sour cherry, musty cellar, barnyard, cheese, wood, and a hint of earth. Flavors match with a nice sour tangy bite to round it out. Lighter side of medium bodied, fizzy, tangy finish. Love it!! fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 12, 2007 750 ml bottle Very sour acidic cherry aromas off this very ruby brew. Very small head that left quickly. What a crazy sour flavor. I have had plenty sour beers, but this one seems to be the sourest so far. Sour cherries, and still acidic through the finish. Very yummy. Now to have this pucker surgically removed from my face.... tronraner (1939), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 27, 2006 Bottle from NachlamSie. Pours a pinkish copper with only a wisp of carbonation at first. The aroma is sour cherries, petting zoo, and a little bit of an herbal tea note. The flavor is extremely sour, almost puckering. Very sharp in the back of the mouth. Mostly grain and sour cherries dominate, and a more robust fruity sweetness becomes detectable as I acclimate to the sourness. Yay lambic. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 19, 2006 HOLY CRAP! $10 for a magnum/50 oz bottle. I’ve never paid so little for lambic before. Hazy reddish orangish amber body with a small to moderate head and blah lacing. Cherryish barnyard aroma. Some sweetness to go with the acidity. Good, but could be better... more complexity. It was getting old after having 1.5L of the stuff. But at that price, this is a steal. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA

Sweet flavor up front with a sour finish. Light cherry aroma and taste. Very good. swoopjones (1932), Buffalo, New York, USA
