This is the result of blending black cherries lambic of different ages followed by a second fermentation in the bottle. Storage is similar like geuze. All bottles are champagne corked and can be reserved, in normal conditions, for more than thirty years. It is obvious that an amazing taste evolution takes place.

True to the style.. Tart red fruit, tart raspberries, tart cherries and a puckering, mouthwatering, vinegary finish. Not much wood interplay, if any... Just a transparent, sour, tart, red fruit profile... RRBC Supplication comes to mind.. Although not the same.. This honestly has a touch brighter fruit and less barrel influence in comparison. Super sour, refreshing finish. No complaints. I love sours!!! --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

A 2009 vintage bottle. Opened with a soft pop. Poured out a hazy ruby red- a beautiful color when held up in light. Smell of cherries, blueberries - all rotting with a faint smell of yoghurt. Went off like a sour bomb in the mouth. Complex, gooseberries and lots of sourness. Fantastic !

Bottle from Beergusto webshop. Unclear red color with minimal white head. Aroma of sour cherries, wood, funk. Taste, tart cherries, cherry stones, almonds, barnyard. Very sour finish. Good.

375ml bottle. Pours an almost clear, deep ruby red, with a thin head. Intensely fruity, funky aroma, cherries, red currant, citrus, Brett, earth. Bone dry, medium body, low bitterness, appropriately low CO2. Fruity, funky, sour taste, cherries, red currant, earth, citrus, hay. Quite complex and rustique. There is a tiny acetic note that disturbs me a bit, funk and acidity I am cool with, but I do not remember picking up acetic elements in lambic beers? Highly enjoyable, nevertheless. (2014-12-20)

At Antwerps Bierhuyske. Red beer with little head. Nose is very sour, cherries, earthy notes. Taste is quite sweet at first but goes over in a tarty sourrness to the end. Medium body, nice cherrytaste. Like!

Dark red color, quite clear, beautiful pink-ish head. Aroma of mostly leather and old/kind moldy barrel or wood, very intense, in a bad way. In a flute glass you could sense cherry notes, but not much. Taste was acetic acid mostly, not awful but not good either. Very overpowering and you couldn’t sense much else. There were some cherries somewhere... Very very dry and sour. This one was a bad bottle I hope...

Bottle. Sauerkraut taken straight from a wooden barrel, mixed with vinegar and sour cherries. Guess I have yet to learn how to love those uber-sour beers.

Bottle. Clear red beer with a small white head. Aroma is fruity with notes of citrus, cherries, leather and horse blanket. Flavor is fruity with notes of cherries, leather, citrus and herbs. Dry but good drinkability.

UPDATED: DEC 12, 2014 Bottle. Dark red/purple with fuzzy pink head that disappears immediately. Black currant, sour cherries, almond cookies, very woody and spicy, nuts and berry pits. Some barnyard, but very fresh, no oppressive horse blanket. Very crisp and fresh with a deeeeep sour body, quite acidic, and a light, very dry bitter finish. I really love this.

Parmi les différentes kriek celle-là est parmi les plus acides. On sent bien le terroir hanssen, goût de pourri type melon-orange pourri
