COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the result of blending black cherries lambic of different ages followed by a second fermentation in the bottle. Storage is similar like geuze. All bottles are champagne corked and can be reserved, in normal conditions, for more than thirty years. It is obvious that an amazing taste evolution takes place.

True to the style.. Tart red fruit, tart raspberries, tart cherries and a puckering, mouthwatering, vinegary finish. Not much wood interplay, if any... Just a transparent, sour, tart, red fruit profile... RRBC Supplication comes to mind.. Although not the same.. This honestly has a touch brighter fruit and less barrel influence in comparison. Super sour, refreshing finish. No complaints. I love sours!!! --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

Old rating rerated 23.04.2014, 0,375l bottle @ home:
No head, just some bubbles. Aroma is slightly mild, thinner, oak, grass, paint, red berries. Taste is very acidic sour, sorrel, raw rhubarb, soda powder, lemon, sour cherries, red currants, unripe sour berries, hints of thinner. Medium bitterness, lovely dry acidic mouthfeel. Very nice.

Bottle. Pours dark red with little head. Smells and tastes of sour cherries. Tart, but still very drinkable.

Taster at the White Horse, Parsons Green, 25th May 2011, courtesy of tdtm82. Bright, slightly hazy red. Nose has vinegar, tar, glace fruit. Just a teensy teensy bit sour... makes the previous beer taste like pear juice.

75 cl bottle. Pours dark red with no head. Tastes and smalls very sour. The most sour Kriek I have ever tried. The taste of cherries is present and is quite good. Nice Oude Kriek

Bottle. Sweeter, but also more sour compared to Cantillons kriek. Big strawberry notes. Maybe not as complex and deep as other offerings, but sure drinkable and nice.

(bottle, rating #3333) pours a murky ruby colour with a frothy pink head. aroma of cherry stones, custard and barnyard, quite funky, with notes of lemon juice, earth and orange peel. flavour is quite sour, with big notes of lemon juice, some more barnyard, acetone, kiwi and only the lightest hint of cherries in the finish. medium-bodied with lively carbonation.
