This is the result of blending black cherries lambic of different ages followed by a second fermentation in the bottle. Storage is similar like geuze. All bottles are champagne corked and can be reserved, in normal conditions, for more than thirty years. It is obvious that an amazing taste evolution takes place.

True to the style.. Tart red fruit, tart raspberries, tart cherries and a puckering, mouthwatering, vinegary finish. Not much wood interplay, if any... Just a transparent, sour, tart, red fruit profile... RRBC Supplication comes to mind.. Although not the same.. This honestly has a touch brighter fruit and less barrel influence in comparison. Super sour, refreshing finish. No complaints. I love sours!!! --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

Murky ruby red, zero carbonation and head. A: fruity, sour, cherry, nice blend. T: flat, zero carbonation and dito mouthfeel. Taste is good, with mostly sour cherry. Don't know what happened to this bottle...

Acidic, tart, yeasty, barnyard, lots of vinegar, not that fruity. Reddish color, medium head. Enjoyable and very powerful tartness, low bitterness, not that fruity, a bit too one dimensional. Medium body, tart finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Dark pink with quickly disappearing pinkish head. Aroma of tart cherries, funk, wood and some vinegar. Taste is highly sour with tart cherries, loads of cranberries, leather, acetone, wood and some vanilla. Cranberry juice finish.

Bottle at Nuetnigenough, 14th October 15. Pours nice dark pink, good. Aroma is cherry, funk, sour. Taste is fantastic, cherry jumps out, rich, full depth of flavour, some cherry stone and slight bitterness of skin, well balanced and spot on. Great Kriek, one of my favourites

Bottle shared at Drøbak by night 2015
Pours pink, quite hazy with almost no head. Smell of cherries, funk, some woody tendensies, cherry stones, hints of oak and some light malts. The funky part is mostly barnyard stuff and stable. Light to moderate sweet, a distinct flavor of sour cherries up front, medium sour, nice acids, tart berries, complex funky brett flavors, a blast! Moderate bitter, cherry stone finish. A very nice kriek!

Bottiglia 75cl @ i troeggi. Rosso carne con bella schiuma. Frutta rossa sovrastata da aceto, un pò di limone. Difficile, ma apprezzabile.

Sampled from a shared bottle at the Cardinal, Stavanger at a beer tasting in August 2015. Ruby colour, with a rich taste of cherries, old burgundy and hints of wood and leather. Not too vinegary, but with a subtle and complex sour taste. Very interesting and full, fruity flavour. Refreshing and very individual. Excellent beer.
