Commercial Description:
This is the result of blending black cherries lambic of different ages followed by a second fermentation in the bottle. Storage is similar like geuze. All bottles are champagne corked and can be reserved, in normal conditions, for more than thirty years. It is obvious that an amazing taste evolution takes place.

Slight haze m bright amber. Bright white head. Sour, some raspberry and peach showing up. Soft for a lambic. Thinner front, young gooseberry, green apple, finishing with light medicinal flavour.

Bottle @ Rudolf’s ’Sourfest’. Hazy red body with a small white head. Fruity aroma, but not obviously cherry per se. Light perfumy accents. (7+) Bracingly sour, but retains a good amount of fruitiness throughout the flavour. Average palate. Far to sour for me to have any right to like it, but I actually enjoyed this a lot - though I would definitely not want a larger sample in one sitting. 7+/3/8/3/15

Bottle. Poured hazy reddish color with an average frothy reddish head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate complex sour cherry aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and lively carbonation. Medium sour cherry flavor with a medium sour finish of moderate duration. Sour refreshing brew.

Thanks to npdempse for this. Nice ruby, headless pour with huge cherry aroma along with slight grapes, horse pussy, and sour ass. Tastes krieky, but too tart for my tastes. When I eat a Bing or Montmorency or other cherry, I get more sugar in the taste than this. Where did all the sugar go? A little too tart here, but nonetheless, a very good kriek, just not my first or second choice.

Aroma is sour, yeasty with hints of dried cherries and musty soil. Color is amber leaning toward orange/red with a well established, firm white head. Flavor is quite sour with dominating notes of rotting oranges and hints of fresh cherries. Mild wood notes, but some cork flavors as well. Not sure of the date on my bottle, but it is probably 2004ish. I feel like this could age amazingly well, but it’s still a good beer as it stands.

Bottle. Pours a clear pinkish/brown color with a small pinkish/white head. Tart and sligtly sour cherry aroma. The flavor starts out sweet then the tart sourness hits you. Lots of cherries in the flavor. Dry sourish finish with some hints of cherries in the aftertaste.

HOLY CRAP! $10 for a magnum/50 oz bottle. I’ve never paid so little for lambic before. Hazy reddish orangish amber body with a small to moderate head and blah lacing. Cherryish barnyard aroma. Some sweetness to go with the acidity. Good, but could be better... more complexity. It was getting old after having 1.5L of the stuff. But at that price, this is a steal.

750 ml bottle Very sour acidic cherry aromas off this very ruby brew. Very small head that left quickly. What a crazy sour flavor. I have had plenty sour beers, but this one seems to be the sourest so far. Sour cherries, and still acidic through the finish. Very yummy. Now to have this pucker surgically removed from my face....
