Bottle at Sourfest. Ruby pour with a dismal white head. Lactic acid, oak, nuts and cherries in the aroma. Low carbonation and smooth body with flavors of tart cherry and oak, lactic sourness and vinegar. Dry clean ending. Not bad, really easy drinking.

Aroma: Red fruits, strawberries, almonds.
Appearance: A hazy red colored beer. A pink head with small lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting sweet almond biscuits, marmalade and grape-fruit.
Palate: Low carbonation, a coarse texture. A good body with a very dry finish.
Overall: Nice fruity, terse.

Cherries and play-dough nose. It's as if these cherries experimented with Robitussin in college. Taste explores another avenue, bringing more refinement as it warms. Good? Sure. Great? Never.

Aromas of red fruits, blueberry, vinous, some acid and some ripe apple.
Pours clear red, no head, sparkling starts while pouring, but is gone when you start drinking.
Taste is very sour, cherries, berries.
Dry finish, some wood in the finish.

Bottle. A quite sour smell, later on also the fruity aroma of cherries. The body is bright red, the small head disappears fast. The taste is very sour, very dry feeling in the mouth, a little bit fruity. The body is light and very dry with a soft carbonation.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark red, with almost no head. Aroma is funky and very pleasant oaky and earthy notes as well as cherries, and some more surprising whiffs of tobacco, raisins and dark fruits. Full body, with very soft carbonation. Flavour has a massive funky sourness, with some earthy notes of farmyard and oak barrels, as well as tremendous amounts of fruits and berries with sour apples, red currants and full rounded strawberries. Fabulous kriek!

Pours murky pink with almost no head. Aroma is of fruits, cherries, very sligth funk. Taste is of sourness, fruits, cherries. Palate: Medium body. Overall: Very fruity. Lots of sourness.

Small pinkish head. Hazy brownish red body. Earthy oily cherry aroma with metallic mealy notes. Dry-acidic earthy cherry metal taste with oily notes. Mid-to-light body. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry-acidic earthy cherry and wood aftertaste with oily metallic notes. Lovely. Highly unusual. (0.375l bottle at In de Wildeman, Amsterdam.)

Bottle (750 ml). Shared by Julien, Pier-Luc & Benoit, thanks! Clear reddish amber with no head and no lacing. Aroma is very fruity with cherries and other red fruits, funk, oak and vinous notes. Taste is moderately sour and really fruity (cherries & al.) with oak, vinous notes and slight sweetness. Mouthfeel is dry, slightly vinous and mouth puckering. Very good Kriek!
