Bottle@Home. Brett, old leather and cassis aroma. Deep red colour, pinkish head, good lace. Sweetish, hint of sourness, strong leather, bitter, berries, marzipan. Flat mouth feel. Not bad, interesting, not really a lambic and I had to get used to it first.

Bottle (Stockholm Beer Festival 2009) - Red in colour with a pinkish head. Blueberry in the aroma with a hint of blueberry jam. Blueberry in the taste with a slightly tart hint. The finish is fruit, tart and slightly creamy.

Bottle at SBWF. Very disappointing! Where was the sourness, the taste?

Bottle at SBWF. Pours red with a pink tiny and short lasting head. No body and way to short taste

Bottle. Meaningless fruit lambic. No sourness, no fruits, no funk. Thin mouthfeel.

Bottle at Stockholm Beer and Whisky 2009. Clear red coloured with a small white head. Light acidic aroma of barnyard, berries and vegetables. Light acidic flavour of barnyard and berries with notes of wood. Tart finish.

It poured a hazy red liquid with a very small reddish foam. It had a strong sweet and sour smell of gruits and berries. It tasted fruity and yeasty. But I couldn’t really feel the blueberries, tasted more like black currant and other red berries. It was also a bit watery and lacked some depth and roundness in the mouthfeel. Sorry to say that it didn’t live up to my expectations, not one of the better lambics I’ve had.

courtesy of, and shared with Gnoff. pours ruby/copper, light pinkish head. Aroma is lightly sour with blueberries. Taste, sour, yeatsy, fruity with a vinegary, sour and blueberry finish. Wholly enjoyed this one.
