Brownish look with a small head. Vinous typical barley wine style scent, alcohol as well. For me a really typical barley wine style taste as well, quite straight forward and nice.

JorisPPattyn (8795) - Ursel, BELGIUM - MAY 27, 2010
Light gushing to medium, dense yellow-cream head, not very stable over ruby-brown beer; clear burt for the very last of the bottle. Rich malty nose, with alcohol and something lactic, sweet spices and mild hops. Rich taste, alcoholic and cakey, with hops blending seamlessly in. If anything, more meaty than lactic in the mouth. Very good balance. Quite rich velvety MF, and feels more carbonated than it looks. Long warming aftertaste with alcohol-preserved orangequarts. Dangerously drinkable little bottle, dangerously likeable little nobleman, both very expensive...
