Ktwse (2844) - SWEDEN - JUN 13, 2014
Pours clear dark brown with a finger of light tan head. Aroma of toffee, vanilla, caramel, light bread, light banana, some basement aromas. Taste is big, bold butterscotch burnt butter sweet, long sweet finish. Body is rich and creamy although with very rich carbonation, which kind of pulls the entire package apart.

A hazy brown colored beer, with a thick foamy beige head. The aroma of caramel with fruits like cherry and prunes. The taste of caramel, some chocolate with overripe fruits. It moves from sweet to bitter, with some alcohol in the back. The aftertaste is bitter with some sweet.

Stor kanske aning spritig doft med tydlig inslag av kola och frukt. Smaken är stor och tjock med en härlig känsla av tjära, lakrits och kola. Något kort eftersmak. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pilsnerrogge (2643) - Finspång, SWEDEN - OCT 3, 2005
UPDATED: JUL 7, 2012 (Draught@Stockholm Beer Festival 2005) Murky brown colour, ok head. Chocolate and orange aroma. Flavour starts of on a plastic note, the turns sweet and malty with notes of raisins. The alcohol is noticable. The plastic thing ruins everything.

Sampled from draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival 2005.
Hazy amberorange with a foamy tan head. Sweet aroma, mostly of chocolate and caramel with a candied edge and some note of toffee and cake in there as well. Nice, full and complex. Flavor has malt and chocolate along with caramel and a nice and warming alcohol tone. The mouthfeel is soft and smooth with a dry finish. Good one!

glennmastrange (2445) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JAN 10, 2013
Bottle. Moderate to heavy cookie, roasted and caramel, moderate cooked orange for the hops, moderate dough and leather for the yeast, with notes of date and toffee. Head is small, wispy, off-white with no lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is murky medium orange/tan. Flavor starts moderately to heavily sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes moderately sweet and lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is medium to full, oily with a almost flat carbonation and a lightly alcoholic and chewy finish. Big and bold aromas and flavors combined with a perfect feel make this a relatively easy drinking Barley Wine.
