Draught, 9.0%. Citric aroma, yoghurt style. Quite cloudy, dark reddish colour. Small, but seemingly stable light brown head. The flavour is quite bitter, but balanced by sourness. The alcohol is well-hidden. The mouthfeel is not impressive for a barley wine, but OK.

Pours a clear amber to reddish. Almost no head. Smells like port, karamel, roasted malts and wood. Taste is immediately the roasted malts, which is quite surprisingly. Ends somewhat acidic with sweet hints. Aftertaste is complete hop bitterness and little acidic.

The aroma is very sweet and alcoholic with dark fruit and caramel. The appearance is cloudy amber with a small head. The taste is like the aroma and packs quite a punch both in alcohol and bitterness. The palate is average. Overall not one of my favorite barley wines but not bad.

Draught at Stockholm Beerfestival. Cloudy orange red coloured with an off white head. Light acidic aroma of caramel. Flavour of malts, caramel and dried fruits with notes of lactic acid.

[Draught SBWF, Stockholm] Hazy amber colour. Strawberry juice aroma, along with cabbage and diacetyl. Pretty weird aroma in a Barley Wine if you ask me. Sweet, with dried fruits in favour with a smooth mouthfeel, and somewhat maltbitter.

Malt aroma with hints of orange and chocolate. The flavor is sweet malt with chocolate undertones, some caramel and alcohol. An okay beer, but it does not really give me the "kick", can not say exactly why. Should probably try this again!

Dark brown color with medium to low darkish head. The aroma is clearly caramel and raisins. The taste is in line with the aroma. Quite sweet too, completely lacking any bitterness. Not really my kind of beer.
