Sampled from draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival 2005.
Hazy amberorange with a foamy tan head. Sweet aroma, mostly of chocolate and caramel with a candied edge and some note of toffee and cake in there as well. Nice, full and complex. Flavor has malt and chocolate along with caramel and a nice and warming alcohol tone. The mouthfeel is soft and smooth with a dry finish. Good one!

Caramell, dried fruits, apricot and alcohol in the flavour. Sweet medium body. (Draught, second try) Pours deep reddish brown. Incredible and fat aroma of sugary and buttery toffee. Also some caramel and vanilla ice cream. Flavour is the same, fat and sweet like liquid toffee. Some spicy hops and some apricot are also present. Full mouthfeel and body.

Hazy dark amber color; nice head. Medium aroma, sweet caramel, nutty. Good sweet caramel and malt flavor, correct bitterness. Side to side, less complex than the Munken.

2007-09-22, draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007, 7-5-8-4-16=40
Cloudy amber color; thin creamy head. Delicate malt aroma, lightly cheesy. Full bodied, very good malt flavor, immediately the alcohol fires up the guns, and the bitterness comes in to balance it, with a lot of oils; toffee, parmesan cheese too come to mind. Extremely powerful. Excellent.

It poured a hazy dark golden liquid with a light brown foam that left some lacing. It had a strong smell with some warm alcohol. It felt round, thick and smooth in my mouth. Had a warm alcoholic finnish. Tasted of caramell, malt and fruity. Very nice.

2009 bottle c/o Rich. Pours cloudy orange and brown with a medium creamy beige head. Aromas of mild citrus peel, a bit funky, with toasted/buttery oak, alcohol, and raisins. The flavor is sweet toffee and burnt caramel, light grass, and a crisp malt finish. Bitter citrus is also present, with slight alcohol as it warms. Low carbonation and creamy with a dry finish. Really nice. Thanks! [923]
