New Beer Distributors, NY 330ml ($3): Pours a black color with a brown head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, some smoke. Taste is chocolatey, with a coffee bite. Some sugar, which lingers into the aftertaste. Nice amount of roast. Aftertaste is big. While this is not a big beer in Imperial Stout terms, it is quite substantial. Also, this is one of the better beers I got from this brewery.

Draught. Black with tan head. Nose is very coffee-licorice- roasty. Makes me think of coopers stout. Some port wine also. And wood. Body is medium full, tons of licorice, roasted flavors. A bit of port wine again. Feels dry on the palate. A bit short and not that great for an IS.

God, men, något saknas. Vill ha den fylligare bl.a.

Opaque black amber with a 1/2" head, and splashes of lace. Taste of sour roasted malt that is infused with a bitter chocolate near the finish. Big, full-bodied, but not as satisfying as I would expect.

Bäst före 2015. Bryggdatum okänt. Gissningsvis 2011. Riktigt mörkt mörkt brun med högt beige skum. Snyggt.

Sample @ SBWF12, Black colour. A medium bodied stout, nice, but prefer imperial stouts to be bolder

Draught. Opaque black liquid with small tan head. Aroma of cold coffee, caramel, biscuit, toffee, dark fruit and some booze. Nice. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of coffee, licorice and ash. A bit light but very drinkable. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Not very aggressive or "imperial" but still good tasting beer.

Bottled. Pours pitch black with a brown head. Smells smoky roasted malt. Tastes smoky chocolate malt, abit basil with a similar finish.

Pours a solid black with a short brown hair. It has a somewhat light aroma of toasted malt along with some coffee and toffee. It has some toasted malt and coffee up front in the flavor, but more malt and toffee in the middle and aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, brown, mostly lasting. Body is black. Aroma is moderately to heavily malty (roasted grain, unsweetened chocolate), with notes of tar and minerals. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/oily texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Very one-dimensional in the nose...very roasty and tarry. Considerable sourness in the mouth. Not a fan.
