Coffee, roasted malt, minty chocolate in the flavor, with a solid, malty base. Almost full-bodied, low-carbonated. A very pleasant and balanced Imperial Stout.

Balanced and harmonic. Dry-sweet chocolatey roasty chocolate pudding taste with hoppy coffee notes. Some faint alcohol notes. Long dry-sweet aftertaste of the same. Lovely! Coffee and roasted malts in nose. Full palate with some carbonation. Coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, liquorice and bitterness in taste. Long coffee-flavoured aftertaste. Strong roasted notes with hints of chocolate and licorice. Sweetish and salty flavor. Smooth mouthfeel. Crosling (1598), Loveland, Colorado, USA May 20, 2008 Bottle, Tegnérs Gömställe, Stockholm, Sweden. A dark brown, nearly black brew with a small, filmy light brown head. Roast and burnt fruit aromas, with some cocoa as well. Flavor has nice balance, low roast and hop bitterness. Silky and sweeter, with chocolate and cocoa flavors. Thin texture. A solid beer, but nothing very special.
