(Draught@HBF2008) Very dark with very small head. Roasty, licoricey, malty and smooth aroma. Coffee, roasted malt, minty chocolate in the flavor, with a solid, malty base. Almost full-bodied, low-carbonated. A very pleasant and balanced Imperial Stout.

Jul 16, 2008 Bottle. Low and quickly disappearing head. Pitch black body. Coffee cocoa aroma. Flavor mild coffee hops. Long aftertaste, low carbonation.

Jun 30, 2008 Big dark brown head. Opaque black body goes dark brown at edges. Sugary milky cocoa and coffee aroma with toffee notes. Balanced and harmonic. Dry-sweet chocolatey roasty chocolate pudding taste with hoppy coffee notes. Some faint alcohol notes. Long dry-sweet aftertaste of the same. Lovely! Surprisingly light and drinkable. Jun 18, 2008 (Draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-06-15) Black. Medium-sized brown head. Coffee and roasted malts in nose. Full palate with some carbonation. Coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, liquorice and bitterness in taste. Long coffee-flavoured aftertaste. Very nice.

Jun 5, 2008 Draught at The Bishop’s Arms, Järntorget, Göteborg, Sweden. Almost black with a hint of red under a long-lasting, creamy beige head. Strong roasted notes with hints of chocolate and licorice. Sweetish and salty flavor. Smooth mouthfeel.

May 20, 2008 Bottle, Tegnérs Gömställe, Stockholm, Sweden. A dark brown, nearly black brew with a small, filmy light brown head. Roast and burnt fruit aromas, with some cocoa as well. Flavor has nice balance, low roast and hop bitterness. Silky and sweeter, with chocolate and cocoa flavors. Thin texture. A solid beer, but nothing very special.
