Bottle. Cloudy copper-like color. The foam was very thick and large. The aroma contains citrus, caramel, some grass tones and a bit of forest. The flavor contained malt, caramel, chocolate and some citrus. Finish was rather bitter.

Draught (Monks Cafe, Sveavägen, Stockholm) - Amber/copper in colour. Fruity and slightly spicy aroma with dried fruit and caramel. Fruity taste with caramel, raisins and some slightly hoppy notes.

Bottle, 33cl - clear amber brown beer with a large beige head. Aroma is malty with notes of dried flowers, tea and dark honey. Flavor is malty with notes of dusty hops and honey. Balanced and typical ESB.

Draught at Bishops Arms, Stockholm. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Aroma is mainly fruity and hoppy. Flavour has lihgter hops, fruit and ends up rather bitter. Quite nice.

Drar med sig en mångfald smaker, knappt urskiljbara, alldeles för lätt duttade. Utöver den karamellaktiga smaken, en svepande sötma, lämnar den inga större avtryck för att vara en bitter.

Bottle@Øl&Mat 09, Oslo. Average offwhite head. Unclear, nut brown body. Modest berry-ish fruit aroma with a faint malt scent. Taste is medium sweet and grainy, reminding me of breakfast cereals. A pleasant note og honey and floral/grassy hops. Healthy body. Quite lively mouthfeel. Ends up on the malty side. Straightforward with good drinkability.

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, on 2009-07-27) Brown and cloudy. Berries in aroma. Medium bodied palate with medium carbonation. Cough mixture, malts, sweetness, bitterness and berries in taste. Sweetness and berries in aftertaste.

Medium white head. Hazy brown body. Faint rye crisp bread aroma with roasty notes. Dry roasty dusty rye taste with chocolatey earthy notes. Mid-bodied. Clean mouthfeel. Dry roasty floral earthy aftertaste. Quite nice, if a bit unusual. (0.2l taster, Øl & Mat ’09, Oslo.)
