gnoff (2832), Göteborg, Sweden Jan 3, 2007 (Bottle at the brewery) Clear straw yellow color, white head. Typical bottom fermented scent, but still with a nice fruitiness as well. Fresh hoppy lager taste with a hint of fruits also in the taste. All in all a vice very drinkable lager beer. MiP (6029), Flensburg, Germany Dec 30, 2006 Draught. Almost clear dark golden colour. Small white head. Sweet and fruity aroma and flavour. The fruitiness is slightly citric. Disappointing aftertaste, a little bad bitterness on the sides of my tongue. Rather boring, but not too bad. Miksu (1293), Jyväskylä, Finland Oct 31, 2006 Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival 2006. Deep golden color with creamy head. Spicy aromas of rye and cumin with hints of parfume and tobacco. Sweet and malty flavor with spicy graininess. Reminds Riedenburger lagers. Svesse (1818), Hässelby, Sweden Oct 2, 2006 (Draught, Stockholm Beer Festival, 30 Sep) Golden yellow colour with amber notes, firm white head. Malty, bready, clean nose with notes of hay. Full malty, bready taste. Initial notes of malt sweetness turning into a finish with a well balanced grassy bitterness. Not exceptional, but very well constructed. TBone (5116), Pori, Finland Oct 2, 2006 Draught.
Golden color, off-white head. Hayeish aroma with vegetables. Hay and vegetables also in the flavors. Quite unfermented feeling here. But drinkable - re-rate needed.
