Flaska från SB. Dimmig, gyllengul vätska, vitt ganska lågt skum. Lite jästig men framför allt väldigt örtig doft. Bra maltkropp som andas sädesfält och slåtter, örter och gräs, torr, stram, ren beska, lite jästigt brödiga toner. En av de bättre svenska lagerölen.

Bottle @ Bishops Arms Skövde. Pours clear golden with a small bubbly white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some lacing on the glass. Smell is sweet, malty and grassy with caramel, old dark bread, persimmon, butter, caraway and orange peal. Taste is sweet and bitter with grass, canned corn, old dark bread, orange peal, persimmon, rotten peaches and lemon balm. Mouthfeel is sticky sweet and light to medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with old bread, orange peal, grass and tobacco.

A bottle at Bishp Arms, Skövde. Golden amber beer . Caramell and malty aroma with some yeast notes. Malty flavour with some hoppy notes. Nice fresh beer.

Man vill ju så innerligt tycka att det här ölet är exceptionellt, men för det krävs antagligen lobotomi och/eller ett omdöme i det sista stadiet av förruttnelse. Nej, Hantverksbryggeriet är och förbli lite sämre än vad de borde vara, fångna i en underlig underprestation. Dags att bryta mönstret.
