33cl bottle. Cloudy brown colour with minimal and quickly diminishes tan head. Nice lacework on the glass. Aroma is moderate malty, nutty and caramelish. Flavour is sweet at the beginning with a final moderate bittery. Sweet on palate, with dry fruits hints and some orange traces are also present. The aftertaste results bready, dense on palate and bittery with an average duration. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium to high. Texture is oily.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance: Pours out a clear, tanned leather hued body with an inch of bubbly beige foam.
Smell: Toasty malts featuring a whiff of dark brown sugar, berry-esque fruit, and a hint of shredded mint leaf.
Taste: Moderately sweet, nutty caramel and brown sugar over deeply toasted malts. A little handful of berries, which left me wondering if there’s juniper in here. Some spruce, a sprig of mint and a thin vein of tartness. Fruity, lightly tart, middlingly malty finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel.
Overall: Just as I’m not sure about these Terrance and Phillip-style labels, I’m just not sure about this beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle… Clear, brilliant copper ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. Woody, earthy, malty nose with an insinuation of lactic acid. Full-bodied with lazy carbonation. The flavor is nutty with toffee and just a hint woody. No lactic acid here. Finishes meaty, minerally and lightly bitter. Bottle courtesy of darkguardian!

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Amber colored beer with a minimal light brown head. Aroma is rtahre subdued but has spicy, malty and hoppy notes of caramel, toffee, resin and spruce. These components seems much better integrated in the mouth. Taste is medium sweet and medium to heavy bitter with notes of cloves and licorice. Oily texture, medium body, soft carbonation and a bitter, long dry finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Malty aroma has hints of cloves and dates and just a touch of molasses. It pours a clear mahogany with a thick, though not persistent, pale tan head that leaves minimal lacing. Flavor has a malty core and clove, ginger, floral and fruity notes with just a hint of caramel. Smooth, rich texture has an average amount of fizz and leaves a fruity, slightly syrupy finish with a subtle tingle that lasts only a little bit. Still, a decent brew.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught @ City Pub on December 3. Pours deep wooden brown with a thick gray head that dissipates while leaving some trace on the glass. Smell is malty sweet with sweet fruits and lots of Christmas spices like cloves and cardamom. Taste is malty and has a roasted, almost smoked, character to it. There’s also figs, dates, cloves and ginger. Finish is malty sweet.
