Tap at Hanze, Zutphen: Quite good looking amber with slightly sweet taste with an slightly sour aftertaste.

Draught, 5.6% at the brewpub. Buttery, dusty aroma. Hazy brown amber colour. Small creamy head. Quite a lot of butter in the flavour, citric finish. Does not taste infected as such, but not very pleasant.

From tap at the brewpub as Fikkie Amber, 5.6%. Pours clear and golden amber with a diminished white head. Aroma is roasted malty and somewhat butterish. Roasted malty flavoured with distinct notes of diacetyl ad some off citric note into a mild sweet finish.

Clear amber color, medium head. Aroma is light malty, caramel. Bit sweet taste, sticky, bit dry.

On draft at Hanze Stadsbrouwerij, Zutphen. Orange/amber coloured. Caramel malts dominate in aroma. Sweet flavour, which becomes more bitter in finish. Unimpressive, but by no means bad.

Sweet, hints of caramel, caramel malts, light bitter, light herbal, sticky mouthfeel. Well balanced but uninteresting. Tap@HanzeBrewpub, Dec 06, 3.4: Iron and hints of caramel. Amber color, beige creamy head, good lace. Caramel malts well present, light sweet, herbal, nice bitterness. Refreshing beer.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2010 A faint hoppiness in the flavor. Some raspberry esters. Light butterscotch character. Thinnish but tasty.
Re-rate 28.04.10: cellar run @ the brewery. Amber color, hazy. Nutmeg, cardemom, caramel and cigar tobacco. No specific aroma. Fairly long aftertaste with caramel and tobacco.
