Bottle at Winterbierfestival, Gouda: An bit heavy in alcohol, some roasted malts taste and some fruitiness to.

Brewery tap, small tasting glass. A most pleasant mix of hops, malt and alcohol in the aroma, like in good British barley wines. Thick mouthfeel. Malty sweet, luckily not too sweet, the present but not overpowering alcohol helps. Fruity tones add to the excellent balance of this beer.
