Draught, 9.1% at the brewpub. Weak spicy aroma. Hazy shiny yellow colour. Small creamy white head. The flavour is peppery and quite malty, has a little vegetable, but no more than is common in a tripel. Peppery aftertaste.

From tap at the brewpub as Drogenap Tripel, 9%. Pours clear and golden yellow with a diminished white head. Dry malty and spiced aroma. Mild fruity yeasty and light spiced. On the mild sweetend side. Ends sweet and light fruity yeasty.

Brewery tap, small tasting glass. Hint of cardemom in the aroma. This comes back stronger in the flavor. Medium bodied. Warming alcohol. Flowery hops are present, but pushed back by the warming alcohol. Pleasant and powerful tripel, but I would like it a bit more balanced.

Clear golden color, medium white head. Aroma is fruity of mandarin and citrus, also bit sweet and hoppy. Fruity taste, bit sweet, sirupy texture. This is how I like a good triple to be and it turns out very nice!

On draft at Hanze Stadsbrouwerij, Zutphen. Clear golden coloured. Spices and different fruits, orange, pineapple and perhaps some more. Sweet with some bitterness. The best beer of the brewery in my opinion.

On tap at the brewrestaurant. This is the best I had a Hanze Stadsbrouwerij. You much like sweet triples but then it’s great. Apricot and pineapple aroma. Light hazy, yellow color, white head, good lace. Sweet, all kinds of sweet yellow fruit in the flavor, light bitterness. Warming, maybe a bit thin in the finish. It reminded me of Unibroue beers.
