Small creamy white head. The flavour is peppery and quite malty, has a little vegetable, but no more than is common in a tripel. Peppery aftertaste. yespr (12443), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 2, 2007 Brewery tap, small tasting glass. Hint of cardemom in the aroma. This comes back stronger in the flavor. Medium bodied. Warming alcohol. Flowery hops are present, but pushed back by the warming alcohol. Pleasant and powerful tripel, but I would like it a bit more balanced.

Aroma is fruity of mandarin and citrus, also bit sweet and hoppy. Fruity taste, bit sweet, sirupy texture. This is how I like a good triple to be and it turns out very nice! jerohen (1615), Bussum, Netherlands
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 30, 2006 On draft at Hanze Stadsbrouwerij, Zutphen. Clear golden coloured. Spices and different fruits, orange, pineapple and perhaps some more. Sweet with some bitterness. The best beer of the brewery in my opinion. jbrus (4918), Delft, Netherlands
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 22, 2006 On tap at the brewrestaurant. This is the best I had a Hanze Stadsbrouwerij. You much like sweet triples but then it’s great. Apricot and pineapple aroma. Light hazy, yellow color, white head, good lace. Sweet, all kinds of sweet yellow fruit in the flavor, light bitterness. Warming, maybe a bit thin in the finish. It reminded me of Unibroue beers.
