2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tasted on 12/22/11 on draft at the Yazoo Brewpub. Pours pale yellow with a hint of bronze, and a thick, smooth white head that slowly recedes to an even blanket of lace. The nose is light cereal and corny malt with a hint of hay and some spicy hops. The flavor is just as light with cereal, some sweet corn, and lightly bitter, spicy hops. The body is light with average, stinging carbonation, and a short lightly bitter and spicy hops finish.

Hap & Harry’s lager (Nashville, TN)
Pale golden with a very short-lived head
Looks like a pitiful light lager, but has a decent aroma and flavor.
Mostly malty in the nose but with a subtle hop presence.
Flavor: notably more hoppy that the aroma indicates, with a lingering if light hop note.
Feel: light body; crisp carbonation. Thin but not watery.
O: good flavor for style

Got bottled at Kroger’s on Broadway.
Piss yellow. Small, fast head. Aroma: Corn grains. Flavor: Corn grains. Tastes like a a macro-brew.
It really cashes in on its link to Jack Daniels and Jack must be rolling in his grave. "We ain’t claiming this swill!"
