Our best bitter, a strong dark reddish brown colour, nicely malty and well balanced with a combination of East Kent Goldings and Fuggles hops sourced from Kent.

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’12. Amber with white head. Quite heavy on the palate, sweetish, peachy, coating on the tongue. Doesn’t really move away from this apart from a yeasty note.

Cask at the The Sun Inn Summer Beer Festival, Kelvedon. Light haze on this amber beer. Bubbly white head. Light dry palate. Sweet generic boiled fruit sweets with the red ones just dominating. Light malty finish, dry. Okay, a little odd.

Half, from cask (gravity)@The Rake, London. Virtually no head. Body is crystal clear, deep gold. Fruity nose, berries and apples. Dry, restrained malt aroma. Much of the same for the flavor. Some fine fruit tones, and a lightly sweet, soft malt flavor. Firm bitterness. Medium full. Finishes on the drier side with malts, fruits and hops in balance. A pretty nice one.

Cask. A hazy golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of matl and diacethyl, as well as some odd spice note. The flavor is very sweet wtih primary notes of malt, but also with lighter notes of diacethyl and fruits, leading to a sweet fruity finish.
