Cask at the White Horse, 5th May 2010. Deep brown colour. Some light choc and coffee on the nose. Similar flavour. Very drinkable, feels like a dark mild rather than a stout. Nice.

Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark roasted, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, coffee bitter notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100427]

Gravity at a tasting at the brewery on 27/2/10. A deep black-red stout, with red fruit and coffee on the nose, slightly tart and dry on the palate, and then with a dry finish.
