Poured a lovely clear gold into a fluted glass. Nearly four full fingers of bubbly head, retreating slowly. Spotty lacing left on the glass. Very little detectable nose - perhaps slight hints of citrus. Quite crisp on first taste, with mildly floral hoppiness taking over quickly. Seems a fairly generic blonde, with a single hop flavor dominating. Does do a pretty decent job hiding the significant alcohol content, which only manifests at the very end of a sip with a burn on the back of the tongue. As it warmed, an unpleasant, almost soapy flavor took over.

Burnt orange color, a reasonably pillowy white head. The nose is light, grassy and sweet. Hops to the front. Orange and other citrus fruits. A bit yeasty indeed. The taste is bitter. The body is certainly a bit astringent, well-carbonated. Overall, this beer’s interestingly all over the place! Like a dog trying to run on ice. OK, but there’s other examples of the style that I’d recommend first.

33cl bottle. Pours a light golden with a small head. Nose : Fresh hops. Citrus notes. Alcohol and there is also a cherry in a background. Yeast. Sip : Full body but not a mouthful. Medium sour yeast flavor with fruity notes. Bitterness goes into sweet bubblegum on the end. Aftertaste is balanced biterness and aromatic hops with yeast sourness. Clever beer. great discovery ! Alcohol is well hidden for a beer with 8.5%. Still refreshing. Great job !

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2011 (bottled) . Its got the Duvel resemblance going on .. but a rather fucked up bottle like when you sometimes drink Duvel with disturbed yeast profile , ive drank Duvel 100,00 times ...this stuff smells gluey and flabby , lazy esters and saaz are not bright , thery’re boozy and peppery this lacks the style and grace its trying to portray.
