3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Lots of carbonation and head. Nice floral aroma that sweetened as it warmed. A bit harsh on the tongue at first, but got better toward the end as it warmed. Had a peppery taste at the finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Like more people say, it’s like a Duvel. Well balanced taste. Palate is a little sour. This one deserves a recommendation.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hoppy, but not very strong aroma with citrus and yeast. Medium bodied. Hopbitter, bit sweetish taste. Bit herbal with a alcohol burn. Strong grapefruit finish. Not nearly as complex as a Duvel, but I like it!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Head is initially huge, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy
light yellow, dense tiny particles, bottle conditioned. Aroma is
moderately hoppy (herbs), lightly malty (light bread, grain), lightly
yeasty (mold), with a note of alcohol. Flavor is moderately sweet,
lightly bitter. Finish is moderately bitter, lightly acidic, lightly
sweet. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, lightly
alcoholic, moderately astringent. Second rating and still not wild
about this one due to the somewhat uninteresting aroma (for the style)
and astringency. Nice appearance with a pretty good flavor balance,

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A mid to upper golden ale. Golden color with a touch of haze. A standard tall head. A spicy/floral aroma. Flavors of sour apple, and pale malt. Very dry finish. Hides alcohol well.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pale gold with creamy off-white, medium-large head. Grassy, woody, fruity, floral, hoppy aromas. Medium bodied and medium-soft nicely balanced palate with the high alcohol level relatively well masked. I kept thinking of Duvel but less spicy. A refreshing dry bitter clean finish. VERY drinkable.
