3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
I prefer this one above duvel.
The taste is more bitter, and there is less sweet honey taste.

This Belgian is ok. The high ABV not to strong. Somewhat bitter and spicy flavor.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Foggy blond colour with foamy, thin, white head. Heavy saaz aroma. Thin bodied. Dry hoppy flavour with some residual sweetness underneath.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
I see Iím in the minority by not caring much for this beer. Alcohol shows through in a noticeable way. Crisp and somewhat unpleasant, like a Belgian blonde. Didnít care for the spice.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear golden and malty sweet with a little bit of apple and yeast. A nice drinkable belgian that has nothing that really stands out.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Not bad. Itís got a lot of yeasty carbonation, and more bitter notes than most Belgian Blonde ales.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pale, lightly clouded amber body, well carbonated with plenty of foam. Aroma is a little subdued, light fruitiness and a nose tingling peppery spice. Sweet apple taste, truning fruity and honey as it warms. Nice spicy, peppery finish, and just a little bitterness. Fruity sweetness develops as it warms, but makes a very good beer cold too.

The head and hops, give this mellow beer the perfect compliment to fish and lemon.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy (bottle swirled and poured), glowing yellow color with huge amounts of foam, effervescence and lace and a light dusting of sediment. Spicy, fruity (pear, melon) slightly herbal and faintly sweet aroma. Flavor holds some nice, peppery Saaz spice, lightly honeyish malt sweetness and some lemony citrus. Faint hint of alcohol in the finish along with some decent hop bitterness. Medium bodied and with a light, drinkable consistency. A tasty enough golden strong ale.
