COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
HAPKIN has a very good fresh, flowery, Saaz hop aroma, a very big creamy head, a soft malt character, and a spritzy, perfumy fruitness drying toward the finish.

An alright strong ale, though there are far better beers to choose from in Belgium.

Aroma of citrus and malts. Has a bright yellow body with a pretty solid head. Taste is syrupy with some grain notes. Has a dry, tart finish. It’s okay for a strong beer but not great.

Abio (1058) - Waasland, BELGIUM - OCT 5, 2010
Golden coloured, a very big white head, that holds very good. Looks are pretty good. Smell is a bit sour-earthy-hoppy. Reminds me a bit to much of a plain pilsner. Taste is better then expected. Not a top-beer, but drinkeable. More sweetness then expected, spices, lightly hopped and some fruits. OK

Dark yellow colored with cloudy appearance. Vanishing white head. Floral-hopped aroma with citrus and thin alcohol, some peachy note also comes up. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is more biting with carbonation, orange and slight alcohol also here. Some metallic note also comes up, still hops last in aftertaste.
