Cask Handpump at the Albion, Warrington 29/12/2010 Fruit and some roast aroma. White head. Dark coloured hoppy and fruity with orange and bubble gum flavours. A hint of bitterness in a dry roast finish.

Fruity aroma and some of this is retained in the flavour. Full, crisp body.

On cask at the 2012 NWAF, Manchester. Pours a dark brown colour with a fair light tan head. Aroma of Weetabix malt and chocolate. Quite thin with flavours of Weetabix, yeast and caramel. Mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. OK.

Clear dark red brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark roasted, roasted, licorice notes, moderate hoppy, grapefruit, warm orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, licorice, dark roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20101130]
