COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The sunny, golden color hints that this is a classic IPA. The robust, citrusy hop aroma leaps out of the glass. The assertive hop bitterness grabs your attention. The crisp, clean finish brings a satisfied smile. Hop Heads of The World Unite… in Lemont. (6.2% ABV)

Was expecting this to be a fairly timid flagship standard, but it turned out to be a juicy hop bomb of deliciousness. Really nice.

2014-08-16. Crisp yellow body with a small white head and nice lace. Aroma of grassy hops with mild citrus undertones. Flavour is crisp, nice hops over pale malt core, lightly fruity, grassy touches to the hops. Average bodied palate, effervescent carbonation. On tap at the brewpub, State College.

On tap at the brewery. Fragrant spicy hop aroma. Big hop nose on this one. Medium golden clear with no head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts with big hop notes, moderate pale malt sweetness. Huge bitter finish and after, a little funky. Huge bitter and lingering after, aggressive.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2014 Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark amber color with a large foamy white head that faded quickly but left incredible lacing. The aroma was bitter and tangy with pine and vague fruity hops. The flavor was tangy and bitter but with a sweetness underneath and notes of table sugar, orange, pine, lemon, apricot, pepper and cracker. Long sweet sugar, pine, orange and apricot finish. Thick and syrupy body. Interesting.
