Light to medium bodied and grainy. Slightly sweet aromas. Grainy and tart. Mild skunk and effervescence. Still moderate. BelgianBeerGal (1285), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2008 This is a pretty mild lager but well balanced and drinkable. It is another in that long line of beers that is so easy to drink that the alcohol sneaks up on you and turns you into an enebriated jackass. Kudos to Harbin. BigMilly8 (376), Holiday, Florida, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Feb 25, 2008 From bottle : Pours a clear light gold, with a big two finger white head that slowly starts to fall. Lots of bubbles and carbonation. The nose is horrible to me, and i can smell it from a few feet away...its making me want to gag. Lots of corn syrup, grass, and just a overall grossness that i cant stand. The taste, while not great, is a big step up from the smell. Lemons, grass, a tiny bit of hop bitterness toward the end. Thin, very carbonated mouthfull. Grassy aftertaste. Atleast its my first China rating. joohefner (380), Isla Vista, California, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 21, 2008 got to admit, the packaging caught the eye. probably should have looked a little closer, would have seen the green bottle, which i normally shy away from. bright yellow gold with a small unlasting head. lemon grass aroma and inevitably corn. thin spritzy body. slightly sweet grassy flavor with a light spicy lemon hop bitterness. somewhat decent for what it is, and atleast it looks pretty. bma4573 (136), Mechanicsville, Maryland, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 8, 2008 First and only Chinese, would say this is probably like a Chinese Bud, wasn’t great, but not to bad. Would have it again when it’s the only beer in a Chinese place. RunDWP (203), San Jose, California, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Feb 7, 2008 Sorry, didn’t like this. Not a big fan of Asian beers in general, but this is a below average for a Chinese lager. Fizzy, pale yellow color. Vegetably taste, with what seemed to be some off-flavors. Had a bitter aftertaste, and not in a good way. Have something else with Chinese food.
