Just a hint of skunkyness (green bottle - hi, this is 2007, have we met?). Almost no flavor, and zeroz palate. Watery and, uh.. not very good.. HarryFlashman (469), Chatham, Kent, England

Pleasantly surprised by this yellow peril, I was. Quite sweet and smooth, and a good carbonation. A good accompaniment to my excellent cooking - in this case, Singapore rice vermicelli. cbkschubert (1967), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

Very, very light fine bubbled carbonation. Decent lacing. Aroma is herbal hops, light grain, and dust. Flavor is sweet grain. Light to medium body. I’ve had better, I’ve had worse. Worth a try. Modest hops. Quite watery flavour. Nothing offensive here - other than the lack of character or quality. [1.0]<ref>
Oct, 2008 600ml bottle from Morrisons in an attractive tissue paper sleeve. Sweet with few hops and some rice notes. Drinkable, but a 600ml bottle is rather a lot. [2.0] GreatLibations (1441), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 16, 2007 Nice pkg. This one pours a dingy golden color with a tall lasting froth. Decent residual lacing. Aromas of mildly hopped malts. Medium nectar with ample residual effers. This is your average pale lager with no offensive nuances. Dry and malty with a balancing hop profile. The finish is bittered well with citrus rind. Wulfstan (509), California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 13, 2007 Updated: Mar 18, 2008I had to try this since the Russian half of my family is from Harbin. Anyway, it is hardly great, as expected, but it is really pretty good. It is golden, kind of fizzy, with a thin, fizzy white head that disspitaes soon to leave a thin foamy ring around the glass but this lasts. The aroma of grass and nutty grain (perhaps corn?) is prominent. The taste is similar - grassy grain, nuts, maybe corn, and sweet with a little, very faint, citrusy bite at the end. It is fairly flavourful and the final grain taste lingers smoothly on the mouth. It is amazingly full on the palate. Good, very drinkable, and satisfying for what it is, it is also very good with food. mhelgason (495), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA
