Have to be careful pouring it though because the head will overflow the glass very quickly. Not a bad beer if you want to drink a few. Cybercat (787), Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 29, 2007 Aroma is strong, typical of a lager - malty and with a bite - but better than most lagers I have tried. Color is a typical lager yellow with a fairly thick and not persistent white head. Flavor is malty and rich, with hints of hop flavor and bitterness, as well as a good alcohol zing. This lager seems to fill the mouth as few lagers, especially American macro-brews, do.

| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Sep 21, 2007 Bottle. Pours a golden piss color with little head. Aroma is strong and skunklike. Tastes like water with a touch of water. The palate is smooth and refreshing just like a glass of water. brianjames1 (322), Northridge, California, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 17, 2007 Cool bottle wrapped in soy paper. Not a big fan of lagers but this one is not bad. One of the better asian beers that i have had, goes well with chineese food. If its a bad beer, its REALLY bad. If its good, well, at least you didn’t get shot in the face. Harbin falls into the second category. It has a little of the Heineken/St. Pauli Girl aftertaste, but other than that, its a very average but drinkable session beer. It IS the Asian Budweiser. If it were music, it would be some Chinese equivalent to Hootie and the Blowfish. demitriustown (693), Shelby Township, Michigan, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 11, 2007 11.2 fl oz. bottle. Aroma is funky with a light sugar note with a somewhat of a grain scent intermingled. Pours an almost water light golden with a fluffy white head that lingers around for quite a while. Taste is a little bit of rice adjunct taste, a lightly sweet overtone. Very non-offensive and smooth but nothing really exciting about this brew either. Palate is everso lightly bitter and finishes clean and cristal clear. Overall, it’s a clean and crisp lager. It’s decent pale lager wise. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 10, 2007 Pours an expected clear straw gold. Nose right from the open was with a touch of sweet, but it quickly faded to basically nothing. Flavor is more of what you’d expect. Mild and smooth, though there is a touch of slight sweet to it and a fresh taste. Mouthfeel is standard. Drinkability is high since it is so light and goes down easy. For the price, not really worth it. Might as well drink a Tsing Tao. Overall, it’s beer. Nothing to run out and try. | 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Sep 7, 2007 Not the worse lager out there. Yellow color, chemical aroma and chemical flavor with just a touch of malt. Fortunately the formaldehyde is not present in the aroma or flavor. Earlier Rating: 9/24/2006 Total Score: 1.7 Not a bad pale lager. Very light color, almost no aroma and thin palate. A little sweet and some malt. I could drink this on a hot day.
