LiebeBier (788), Annapolis, Maryland, USA Jul 26, 2007 Bottle at PF Changs - Sort of what you’d expect. A light, fizzy, adjunct flavored beer with moderate head. Good with spicy chinese food. dpjuart (670), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 25, 2007 12 oz bottle. Pours light golden with a small white head. Honey and bready nose. Pretty dry, with a bit of "tanniny flavor. bitter after taste that lingers a bit. Not bad, but not good. vyvvy (2023), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA Jul 19, 2007 My first beer from China (and I doubt I have many more). Pours clear yellow with a large white head. The aroma has pale malt, skunk and corn - mmm, mmm. Medium body that is oddly slick and overly carbonated. The taste starts with pale malt with adjunct corn tastes - fairly bland, but what is there is not pleasant. The finish has some skunk and is on the papery side along with being lightly medicinal. Fair at best. Lubiere (4462), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jul 18, 2007 A pale lager with a thick creamy white head, which receedes quickly. A perfumey corn adjunct aroma, grainy. In mouth, a crisp malt with corn, no hops, however, rather refreshing. Bought at CJs, Potsdam, NY. johndoughty (2150), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England Jul 14, 2007 Golden and started off quite promising with a reasonable amount of flavour. There wasa combination of sweetness and dryness. Unbelievably this dissaperared in minutes and this became yet another boring lager. Perhaps A.B are worried about making a beer with flavour! mjg74 (1995), La Mesa, California, USA Jul 6, 2007 Bottle from BevMo. Pours a light golden color. Grainy aroma with some creamed corn in there. Flavor is grainy and bitter. Somewhat watery. Not a very good beer. kmeves (1080), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA Jul 4, 2007 Color is clear golden with a large white frothy head. Aroma is a bit skunky and bready. Light grain flavor and a bit metallic. Light bodied with carbonation typical of the style. pivo (2535), Germany Jun 24, 2007 Light nose, pale gold color, foamy head. Fast dissappating head. Light creamy malt with a dainty hop bitter. Not really bad, but not good either. Sweeter than bitter.
