jkwalking05 (1483), Arlington, Texas, USA Jan 30, 2009 Well I cannot really say that I expected too much. Smell is not good. Looked ok at first but faded at the end.
nuplastikk (1158), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Jan 19, 2009 600ml bottle. Pours a transparent orange-yellow color. Lots of carbonation bubbles, not unlike a soda. Adjunct laced aroma, pretty unpleasant, I guess that would be the rice. Sugary sweet with some rice character. Not horrible, or as undesirable as the aroma, remains drinkable at least. Hellongjiang isn’t beer country. topherh (878), Kearney, Missouri, USA Jan 13, 2009 Pours golden with a white head. Flavor is sweet malt, rice, and a decent bit of hop bitterness. scooterbub (332), Lander, Wyoming, USA Dec 27, 2008 12 ounce Bottle from the A-B Colorado Brewery. Pours a golden yellow with a thin white head. Taste is of corn, grain, some rice and some malt. Is a little sweet and is somewhat thin. Similar aroma. Easy to drink and unoffensive. Not too bad, but I was expecting more. MesandSim (5790), London, Greater London, England Dec 15, 2008 A Mes rate. Yet another shower of bottled shite to avoid cocktails. Maybe I should have ordered a Mojito... Pale gold with an oily film topping. Very corny, slightly sticky. Dull as hell. No flavour. Arse. jerohen (1602), Bussum, Netherlands Nov 30, 2008 Canned from a supermarket in Shenzhen, China. Light golden coloured, medium white head. Grainy nose. Very weak flavour, little bitterness, but no annoying sweetness. General lack of flavour, but that’s what one can expect from Anheuser-Busch... yesyouam (587), Fairport, New York, USA Nov 28, 2008 Harbin Beer is a very clear and sparkling light golden lager. The soft white head fades quickly. It has a funky aroma, like vegetables, melon, alcohol and rotten fruit. It has a medium-light body that’s pretty smooth, with a reasonably crisp finish. It has a fusel flavor. It burns my nose. There is, perhaps, a note of citrus. It was a challenge to finish this beer. It comes in a fancy bottle, though! Dogbrick (2813), Columbus, Ohio, USA Oct 29, 2008 This beer is a clear straw color with with a short white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing. Mild hops aroma with vegetables and malt in the background. Light body with light sweet malt and grassy hops flavors. The finish is mildly bitter hops with a short sweet malt aftertaste. Nothing redeeming about this beer, it makes Tsingtao interesting by comparison.
