From a twelve ounce bottle purchased at the "Western Hills Plaza Kroger’s" on Glenway Avenue in Cincinnati, Ohio - This is a Chinese version of an American macrolager - a tad better, but stil crap. What is it with most Asian beers, anyway?

Taste 7/8 bottle 10/7. Looks: Golden yellow, no head really. Aroma: Skunky, sweet malt, mild piss odor, straw and grain. Taste: Spicy and banana ester at first, then weird body/ palate wash, burns the bottom of the tongue yet bores the top. Strange. Ehhh...not recommended. Will not purchase again.

Bottle in HK. Pours yellow with thin foam head. Not much aroma other than a hint of apples and a trace of sulfur smell. Taste is a little sweet, corn and other adjuncts. Oily and fizzy mouthfeel. Aftertaste is rotten vegetable and metal. Nothing special.

Nothing fancy in the nose. The presentation in the glass is nice. The beer, however pale, has nice tiny bubbles and Brussels lace. Very bland but an uncommonly smooth and dry finish. Very clean-- perhaps cleaner than any beer needs to be. Would probably make a decent session beer accompanied by homemade beef jerky and friendly conversation.

12 ounce Bottle from the A-B Colorado Brewery. Pours a golden yellow with a thin white head. Taste is of corn, grain, some rice and some malt. Is a little sweet and is somewhat thin. Similar aroma. Easy to drink and unoffensive. Not too bad, but I was expecting more.

got to admit, the packaging caught the eye. probably should have looked a little closer, would have seen the green bottle, which i normally shy away from. bright yellow gold with a small unlasting head. lemon grass aroma and inevitably corn. thin spritzy body. slightly sweet grassy flavor with a light spicy lemon hop bitterness. somewhat decent for what it is, and atleast it looks pretty.
