Small offwhite coarseish head doesn’t last. Clear yellow body. Light malt and nice aroma. Dryish mealy malty taste with faint sugary notes. Mid-bodied. Faintly sharp mouthfeel. Dryish rice candy (dango) aftertaste with malty notes. Incredibly bland, but inoffensive. (0.6l bottle, Wellcome, Lohas Park, Hong Kong. 5%, according to label.)

Found a bottle of this in Dayton, Ohio, of all places. Suspect that A-B’s partnership with Harbin will make it more available in the US ... typcial Asian import ... dark yellow with watery, foamy white head. Sharp corny aroma. Ricey and shallow, but there’s surprisingly a little bitter edge to it, too. Not as bad as all that.

500. Thanks, BitBucket Jr.! Can’t beat the ultra-cool packaging. Huge skunky aroma as soon as the cap comes off. Pours somewhere between dark straw and light amber. Lots of surging carb that disappears; so too does the fizzy white head disappear. Skunky in the glass and the light-struck notes carry through to the palate. Some vegetal notes and a whisper of fusel alcohol.

Very fancy packaging! Pours a clear bright gold with a generous frothy white head leaving some early lace. Leafy, herby, skunky hop aroma. Clean grainy palate, lightly hopped, clean dry finish. I actually really enjoyed this.

(Rating #3 635)

This bottled brew marked 20060513 B1622 from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent straw yellow colored body and a good lacing. The aroma was malty and grassy. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and grassy. Not one that I would buy again.

Gold color with a thin head. Aroma of rice, dusted with moldy hops. Corny taste, finishing with a drop of skunk. Not nearly as bad as I was expecting.

ABC Liquors, Tallahassee, Fl - 11.2 oz bottle. Some expected green bottle skunk in the aroma with some saaz induced hoppiness. Straw colored, too pale of a pour - no head watsoever. Club soda like flavor - hint of graininess. In other words - not much there. Mouthfeel is fizzy, too carbonated. Tastes like a low-carb entry.

Gold with a white head. Hop and biscuity malt aroma. Taste is spicy and slightly citric. Hoppy finish. Too gassy to be enjoyable.

This is China’s Treasured Lager, I’m assured by the label. Good to know. Its a lager in a green bottle. It smells like a lager in a green bottle, and it tastes like a lager in a green bottle.
