We just recently got this on our order pad in Morrisons Fleet so of course I had to order some in. Today I put them on the shelf and of course bought one for myself so I can tell customers about it (Good Excuse). The look of the bottle apealed to me straight away as it’s very eye catching. The tast is not as strong as you thought it would be which is very suprising. First taste of it I wasn’t to sure but a few mouthfuls and im impressed by it. I wouldn’t class it as a regular drink but if I saw it out in a pub then this would be one of those I would drink. Price was about around about £1.80. This is a drink you would have every so often, not all the time. I would recomended this to any of my customers

I had to try this since the Russian half of my family is from Harbin. Anyway, it is hardly great, as expected, but it is really pretty good. It is golden, kind of fizzy, with a thin, fizzy white head that disspitaes soon to leave a thin foamy ring around the glass but this lasts. The aroma of grass and nutty grain (perhaps corn?) is prominent. The taste is similar - grassy grain, nuts, maybe corn, and sweet with a little, very faint, citrusy bite at the end. It is fairly flavourful and the final grain taste lingers smoothly on the mouth. It is amazingly full on the palate. Good, very drinkable, and satisfying for what it is, it is also very good with food.

Aroma is strong, typical of a lager - malty and with a bite - but better than most lagers I have tried. Color is a typical lager yellow with a fairly thick and not persistent white head. Flavor is malty and rich, with hints of hop flavor and bitterness, as well as a good alcohol zing. This lager seems to fill the mouth as few lagers, especially American macro-brews, do. These ratings are in comparison to other lagers.

At Thousand Crane - Cold 11.2 oz bottle: Pours a clear, deep golden color with a small amount of alabaster bubbles, mostly around the edges. Aroma is of rich malts and aromatic hops with lemon notes. Taste is of rich malts blended with hops bitterness, caramel, lemon and spice. Light bodied and smooth with playful carbonation. Ending is sweet, grainy and effervescent.

This is a pretty mild lager but well balanced and drinkable. It is another in that long line of beers that is so easy to drink that the alcohol sneaks up on you and turns you into an enebriated jackass. Kudos to Harbin.

Golden and started off quite promising with a reasonable amount of flavour. There wasa combination of sweetness and dryness. Unbelievably this dissaperared in minutes and this became yet another boring lager. Perhaps A.B are worried about making a beer with flavour!

Bottle. The beer pours to a sexy orange golden body with a foamy/frothy white head. So-so lacing that slides down. The aroma is crisp, lightly fruity, grainy silage. Definite lager yeast aroma too. The flavor is up-front lager yeasts that turn into an aromatic rice and crisp graininess. Light fruitiness like a pineapple. This brew would have gone nicely with the vegetable stir-fry I had tonight. The palate is medium bodied, clean, and fitting. Easy drinking.

Golden light yellow pour with some nice head and some lacing. A bit astringent in the overall flavor, but a nice malty aftertaste that went very well with the Chinese meal. Good bubbles throughout.
