blkitson (125), Westerville, Ohio, USA Mar 20, 2007 Very nice head when poured but disipated very quickly. Nice color. Very mild and not really much of an after taste. It’s okay.
phobos1031 (55), Paradise, Nevada, USA Aug 25, 2008 12oz bottle. this is the worst piece of shit i’ve ever tasted from Asia. Tsing Tao is not too good, but this is like Tibetan yak piss.
i’ll take Tsing Tao over this any day. jgb9348 (1825), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA Aug 11, 2008 Clear golden coloured body with a super-thin white head. Aroma of fresh malt and a tiny bit of hops, coupled with a metallic scent. Medium-bodied; Fresh malt in the taste with a little fruity tang and nuttiness. Aftertaste shows a little more complexity with a bit of alcohol, strong malt and good clear low a.a. hops. Overall, not a horrible beer - much cleaner than Tsingtao, with some decent flavours compared to other chinese beers. I sampled this 600 mL wrapped bottle from Ping/Charlie Chiang’s in Arlington (Shirlington) during the 2008 Opening Ceremony to the Olympics on 08.August.2008. Pershing (78), Garland, Texas, USA Aug 10, 2008 Pale golden skunky smelling brew. I still can’t figure out why brewers go to all the trouble of brewing beer and use Green bottles. I guess they think their drinkers like skunks. I’m glad I only bought one (1) bottle. BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Aug 9, 2008 This isn’t horrible considering. Tastes like a lot of other beer from China. Has that same buttery maltiness, dry and bitter, slightly overcarbonated, but remains clean. hombrepalo (463), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 31, 2008 12oz Bottle @ Navy Pier beer garden, surprised they had something I had not had before, It still sucked. Thin foamy head on a straw body. Nose-usual pale lager nose-stale hops, light skunk, dust. Taste-corn, water from a can of canned kernel corn, light lactic sourness, medium CO2, thin, light lotion. Not a great Pale Lager, but not a bad one either.
