COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Note: this beer is known to vary in alcohol from 7.3% (Swedish export version), 7.5% (UK/other export version under the name Bear Beer), 7.7% (native Danish version), and 8.3% (old Danish version).
Strength united with elegance - a beer which should be enjoyed with respect. The beautiful harmony between the deep colour and the full-bodied taste has made Bjørne Bryg a success.

This beer has a pleasant aroma and mellow fruit and malt and it maintains its moderate foam layer for a long time. Mouth feeling is bold, very malty with apparent good fruit tones and hop bitterness is sufficiently balanced in the malt and fruit sweetness while alcohol warms in the mouth. These are all works perfectly and comfortable until the discount Bear lashes out at the mouth and leaves an aftertaste of synthetic and metallic acidity throughout the mouth. My can taste is a metallic taste. From the back label, I quote: Strength united with elegance - a beer that should be enjoyed with respect. What a time drunken hogwash! Shame to call it a beer,

7.7% ABV. Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Starts strong, malty, quite alcoholic, sharp. Some soapy notes. Unbalanced finish. Nothing special.

SamTheBarrel (650) - Vallentuna, SWEDEN - JUL 30, 2015
550ml can rated 7.2% ABV poured into a lager glass. Appearance is clear golden with a medium sized frothy white head, that dissipated quickly leaving a little lacing. Aroma of straw, lemon zest and canned corn. Flavours of cereal, alcohol, caramel and a hint of lemon zest. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is light bodied, slick texture and average carbonation. Overall a poor beer, has a artificial taste dominated by alcohol.

YantarCoast (511) - Moscow, RUSSIA - JUL 20, 2015
500ml can. Russian version that actually matches the ABV of the original, a rarity. Pours gold with a brief white head. Aroma of sweet malts and booze. Taste is a bit weird - syrup, sweet artificial fruit (melon?) and slightly boozy. Not very easy to drink.

33cl @ bottle. Strong pils dalla danimarca. Mah, meglio delle solite lager, ma ben lontano da essere una birra degna. No aroma, no schiuma, molto dolce e stufa subito.

Bottle. APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small unstable white head. NOSE: grains, alcohol. TASTE: grains, oxidated, just bad...

"Strength united with elegance - a beer which should be enjoyed with respect. The beautiful harmony between the deep colour and the full-bodied taste has made Bjørne Bryg a success." I guess we’re not talking about the same beer...

An ordinary bum beer, below average, a bit honeyish taste which means it’s also quite sweet.

Golden with a white head - Malt aroma - Sweet malt body, hardly any hop or bitterness - Sweet and short finish - This was ok
